Writing

Our Intent:

At Park Spring our  intention is for  all children to write for a purpose, see themselves as writers, see writing as an interesting and enjoyable process and acquire the ability to organise and plan their written work.  

 We want pupils to write for a variety of purposes and audiences; clearly, accurately and coherently, adapting their language and style as required.  

 We want pupils to develop an understanding of grammar and punctuation, acquiring a wide vocabulary and to use and apply these appropriately. 

 We want pupils to take pride in their writing, to use cursive script and present their writing to a high standard.
