Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant Role – Fixed Term (Term Time Only)

30 hours a week (8:40am-3:20pm Monday to Friday)

Scale A1/B2 point 2

An opportunity has arisen for a TA post within Park Spring Primary School and the successful candidate will be required to support with the delivery of high-quality learning in a safe and positive environment.

Park Spring Primary is a vibrant two-form entry primary school for children aged 4 to 11 years.

The successful candidate will be keen to work with children and staff and will give 100% to the school, they will be able to enjoy their work life, whilst leading and inspiring others. The role may involve supporting specific children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Be committed to raising standards
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children
  • Be calm, patient, caring, understanding, positive and supportive
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have high expectations of the children in their care both in terms of achievement and behaviour
  • Be able to deliver engaging activities and organise resources effectively
