School Dinners

Park Spring School Dinners

Our children now have an improved dining experience; using plates and bowls and getting their desserts from the dessert station once they have finished their main course. There is also a self-service salad bar, which the children love. They are making healthy choices independently! They make their menu choices in a morning, using the colour banding system.

At least 75% of our lunches are made on site. All our ingredients are fresh, not frozen. Our menu is on a three-weekly cycle, changed twice a year. The menus are displayed in the dining room, classrooms and they are on the website. The menus meet the current School Food Standards. Our kitchen has a 5 star hygiene rating and all our staff are appropriately trained.

School meals are free to all Reception, Year One and Year Two children. Year Three, Year Four, Year Five and Year Six pupils the cost is £2.75. For Nursery the cost is £2.58.

The children can choose to change to school meals at any point. All they need to do is order their lunch via the SchoolGrid account with their grown ups.

School meals are paid for using via SchoolGrid which allows you to pay online. For details of how to use this system, please call in to the school office for your login details and instructions.
