Last week we were lucky enough to take Y5 to their Geography fieldwork residential in the beautiful YORKSHIRE DALES. We stayed in GRINTON YOUTH HOSTEL for the night. We completed 3 walks – A river study a moorland walk and a local village and river study walk. We had ALL WEATHERS – hale, sun, rain, wind and a bit more sun and rain! WE showed great learning skills. awesome team working and lots of resilience on our LONG WALKS. The children reported that the highlights were 1)Seeing the sheep. 2)The cooked breakfast 3) Mr B’s Quiz, 4) Spending our money in the local gift shops!
Thankyou to all the families that made our trip possible. Thanks to Leeds Well Sports Partnership for loaning us walking boots, rucsacs and waterproofs, and of course a MASSIVE THANKS to ALL the staff that went along – WE really are blessed with your skills, energy and enthusiasm!!!
