Year 5 have had an exciting time recently taking part in two fantastic LEGO workshops! The first was with Willmott Dixon, where pupils became mini engineers, learning all about bridge design and construction before building their very own LEGO bridges. The second workshop was with Yorkshire Water, where the children discovered how pipe blockages can cause real problems in our water systems. They then took on the challenge of building and coding their own LEGO robots to move and remove blockages – combining creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. It was a brilliant hands-on learning experience that brought STEM to life!
