Did we go to the PANTO again? Oh yes we did …!
Wow! What a great day KS2 had on Tuesday. We took 280 children and adults on 5 coaches to the Bradford Alhambra to see the pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. As a school we had planned to take the children once during their KS2 career largely due to costs, but again this year we have benefitted from having great links with the business community. Glentrool Estates Group which is owned by Jeremy Nolan and his family once again showed amazing generosity to our school. Glentrool paid the full cost of all the tickets, all the coaches and even bought us all an ice-cream during the interval. A massive THANKS to them!
There were lots and lots of really happy children leaving school at the end of the day! Some fantastic manners and appreciation was shown as well. Thank YOU if you took the trouble to thank the staff for taking them – those words really do mean a lot. Kindness really does help the world feel a better place!
