Year 4 had lots of fun in their India morning. We loved creating Mendhi designs, and the children (and some parents!) made some beautiful hands for our display!
We also got creative with the paints and printing activity, and made our own Indian fabrics. Look how beautiful they are!
The girls tried on some Indian saris, and jewellery and loved the bright colours and pretty bangles.
Indian cooking went down a storm! So many children loved the taste of their dips, poppadoms and naan breads. Alex Nhubu asked “how much will it cost to make this again?” and many children wished they had made larger portions so they could eat more!
We had such a fun morning, year 4 were their usual enthusiastic and fantastic selves, and we are so excited to keep learning about India!
