Year 4 have had an absolutely amazing experience at the year 4 camp over!
Before we could start our activities, we had to pitch up our own tents with the help of Charlie Pyatt.
We had the help of Charlie Pyatt yesterday morning to help us create fire and use a trangier to make hot chocolate.
We also had to create a shelter to protect us from the elements – the water bucket! The children were disappointed that they were so good, that they didn’t get wet!
In our final morning activity, we prepared ourselves for the outdoors with some adventure games! The children were to work in small teams to win the game!
After we had filled ourselves up on hot dogs and burgers, it was time for more activities!
We had an orienteering activity where the children were to search around the field for marked spots using their maps. Could they then find the hidden coins and answer the questions in order to receive a reward?!
The children also had a night line activity where they were blindfolded! Could they make their way through the obstacle course with the help of their friend?
We also played some parachute games! The children enjoyed running over and under the parachute to catch one another!
Before heading off to bed, we had hot chocolate and marshmallows around a beautiful camp fire while singing along as Miss Stone played the ukulele.
After a lovely, peaceful, wet night, we all enjoyed some tasty breakfast before heading home for a long sleep!
Thank you to all of the children for their superb behaviour and attitude throughout the Camp Over and making the most out of this experience!
