6a and 3a had a fantastic afternoon celebrating a slightly delayed world book day. Year 6 read their pieces of writing to their year 3 partner and showed them the standard that is expected at the end of KS2. They then looked at the Year 3 children’s writing, helped mark it (using pink and yellow) and supported them in up levelling their writing. Afterwards the children read books in partners. Both classes were absolutely amazing and we have now decided that 3a and 6a are ‘budding up’ as guardian angels for each other for their learning and friendship.
