Art and maths in 5a

We had a great afternoon yesterday – the children who learnt the science art while we were at Malham were teachers to their friends. It was great to see how they supported each other to learn new skills, challenging each other and using their growth mind sets to achieve success!

We managed to practise our meta cognition skills as we reflected on our learning in maths and the children were brilliant teachers in both subjects – with some even doing WAGOLLs (What A Good One Looks Like / an example) to help their learners to make progress.
